Taj Mahal Agra was built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife queen Mumtaz Mahal. It was an expression of a Shah Jahan's dream. Taj Mahal is a Mausoleum that houses the grave of queen Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan at the lower chamber. The queen’s real name was Arjumand Banu.Shah Jahan's real name was Shahab-ud-din and he was also known as Prince Khurram. The Taj Mahal is considered the finest Mughal architecture.

Friday closed; open for offering prayer in the mosque between 12 Noon to 2 P.M.
